Keigan Chetwynd
Keigan Charles Chetwynd, age 24, of Yarmouth and formerly of Pubnico, died suddenly June 20th, 2026 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, he was a son of David and Jocelyn (Banks) Chetwynd, Pubnico. He was a front desk agent at Rodd’s Grand Hotel, Yarmouth. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Breanna (Amero) Chetwynd, his daughter; Hazel of 22 months, a brother; Luke (Mandie) Hubbards Point, maternal grandfather; Charles Banks, Middle East Pubnico, father and mother-in-law; Matthew and Cindy Amero, Weymouth. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother; Blanche and his paternal grandmother; Merle.
The first thing you noticed about Keigan was his smile. Keigan was the most pure, kind-hearted man you would ever meet. He loved everyone with all his heart, and especially his baby girl, Hazel. Breanna was his number one girl until Hazel came along, and then she became number two.
Keigan graduated high school from Drumlin Heights in 2019. Then he attended NSCC Burridge, where he took carpentry. His true passion lay with people, and that's why he loved his job at the Grand Hotel. He touched the lives of everyone he met.
Keigan will be loved and missed not only by us, but by many cousins, nieces and nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation will take place Thursday, June 25th from 9:30-11am followed by a celebration of life at 11am with Glenn Diggdon officiating, followed by a luncheon, all taking place in Huskilsons Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The service will be live streamed on the West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services Facebook site beginning at 11am. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Pubnico.
