Jackie d'Entremont

Jacqueline Louise d’Entremont, affectionately known as Jackie, age 67 of Lower West Pubnico, died November 9, 2025 in the Halifax Infirmary.  Born in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Howard and Carole Jean (Outhouse) Nickerson.  She is survived by her husband, Avery Arthur d’Entremont, son; Dennis Christopher (Angeline) d’Entremont, Lower Wedgeport, grandchildren; Ainsley Frances and Charlee Avery, brothers; Bernard (Corinne) Nickerson, Overton and Timothy (Cheryl) Nickerson, Dayton, sisters; Jill Nickerson-Smith, Tidnish Bridge, Karen (Warren) Fevens-Nickerson of Milton and Sheila Nickerson, Overton.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 6:30-8:30pm in the West Pubnico Funeral Home, 1125 Route 335, Middle West Pubnico.  A celebration of life will be held at the West Pubnico Fire Hall, 897 Route 335, West Pubnico on Saturday, November 15th at 11am. Jackie was a lifelong animal lover and advocate who opened her heart and home to countless furry friends over the years. She found great joy in spending time outdoors, whether tending to her garden or sprucing up their little piece of heaven in Quinan. Jackie took immense pride in her granddaughters and cherished every moment she spent with them, especially delighted her eldest granddaughter followed her footsteps at the horse barn. An avid reader and puzzle master, she delighted in a good book or challenging crossword, often sharing her latest finds with friends. Jackie will be dearly missed by her family and her many close friends and all who were fortunate enough to know her gentle spirit and generous heart.
