Rodney was a man of few words, who enjoyed the simple things in life.  He loved being outside, playing baseball and hunting, especially in Nonias Lake. His greatest joy was his family, especially his two daughters and his grandchildren.  His family spent many hours cheering for Rodney on the ballfield and years later, he proudly cheered them on.  After his retirement from lobster fishing, he worked on a lobster car, a job where he enjoyed seeing the boys and having a yarn.  He was an avid trap and skeet shooter and won numerous awards and trophies.  He took up golfing and shortly afterwards made a hole in one.  Always there for his family, he was just a phone call away.  Rodney will always be remembered as a kind, gentle soul with quick wit and a mischievous grin.  We will always love you.
