Helen Martin
Helen Thérèse Martin, age 70 of Lower East Pubnico, died the 6th of February, 2024 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, she was the daughter of the late David Joseph and Germaine Emilie (Babin) Pothier. She was a retired secretary with Nova Scotia Light and Power. She is survived by her husband Stan, sister-in-law Jill (Todd) Brannen of West Pubnico, nephews; Joel (Karen) and their daughter Anna, Yvon (Laura) and their children Emma and Connor. She was predeceased by her brother David Pothier. A service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice. Helen always greeted everyone with a smile. She loved to go to Lake Doucette Motor Speedway to watch the races but her favorite pastime was playing darts. She also loved going with Stan for drives. She will be missed.
