Harold was a very humble, kind, and patient man who loved his family above all else. He was very invested in their lives, taking pride in all of their accomplishments.  During the lobster season, his sons and grandson could always expect his daily phone call to see how the day was going. He was a very devoted husband of 57 years, papa, and grand-père. For nearly 50 years, Harold ran his own heating and plumbing business, and was well known far and wide.  Harold was a true "renaissance man". He had a broad wealth of knowledge and was an avid local history buff. He was of a gentle nature, was witty to no end and was always ready with a joke.  In his younger years, a few of his many hobbies included vegetable gardening, cattle farming, and spending weekends with Glenda and the boys at their camp across Great Pubnico Lake. In his retirement, he loved to build model boats and had a passion for painting acrylic on canvas. On any given day, he could be found at Dennis Point Café having his tea, making his rounds at the local wharf, going for morning rides with his friends, and ending his day yarning at Albany’s garage. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know him.

Rest in peace Papa, we love you! You will be forever in our hearts!
