Clifford Belliveau

Clifford Belliveau

Clifford Timothy Belliveau, age 53, of Lower West Pubnico, died April 15th, 2023 at home after a courageous fight with cancer.  Born in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, he was the son of Sharon Marie (Amiro) Belliveau, Lower West Pubnico and the late Timothy Dennis Belliveau.  He was a retired fishing captain.  He is survived by his son Cameron, Lower West Pubnico, daughter Brianna (Dylan) Doucette, Halifax, his sister Heidi (Lenny) d’Entremont, Lower West Pubnico and his companion Kim Cunningham.  Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral at this time.  Donations in memory may be made to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund.  On line condolences may be forwarded to the family at westpubnicofh.com.            Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middle West Pubnico.      902 762-3407

Clifford was a soft hearted, generous and kind man.  He began fishing at a very young age with his father.  When his father passed, Clifford took over the lobstering boat until his own illness.  He loved sailing, 4 wheeling, his camp and truck rides, especially in the past few months.  Clifford enjoyed the company of his many friends, especially Louis Mark, Carl, Yvon and Lee.

A very special thank you to his primary caregiver, his sister Heidi.  Heidi was there for him from day one until the end of his journey and took pride in providing professional care and spoiling him as much as she could.  Another thank you goes out to Clifford’s daughter Brianna, who also helped out with his care.

The family would like to thank Dr. Blair MacDonald, Dr. Karen Howett, the staff in oncology and ambulatory care.

Clifford, you will be missed.  XO
