A very special thank-you to Dr. Loveridge and the staffs of Pont du Marais and Nakile for the exceptional care you provided to Victoria over the years. There are no words to express how grateful we are for the love you have shown her. We were so blessed to have such caring people surrounding her with love every day.

Our sweet sister was an angel on earth. Born with Down Syndrome and a complex heart defect, she defied the medical odds and lived over 40 years beyond her life expectancy. Her mother once said God had given her Victoria to teach her patience but she mostly taught us about love, pure and simple. Victoria loved her family unconditionally and her Pont du Marais and Nakile families the same way. She loved hugs and smiles, bubble bath, scissors, Sears Christmas catalogues, music and singing karaoke, anything Disney, the colour pink, Christmas, her birthday and desserts. And while we have lost a piece of our hearts, heaven has gained a most precious angel who has finally been reunited with her beloved mother, father and grandmother. Forever in our hearts, Rest in Peace, sweet Victoria.
