Cecile d'Entremont

Cecile Jeanne d’Entremont, age 83 of Nakile Home for Special Care, Argyle, died April 27, 2022 in the home.  Born in West Pubnico, she was a daughter of the late Jean Edmund "John-E" and Jeanne Rose "Jane-Rose" (d’Entremont) d’Eon.  She is survived by a son Richard (Heather), Yarmouth, daughters; Francina (Arnold) d’Entremont, Lower West Pubnico, Carla (Kevin) Doucette, Quinan, Lena Morton, Lower West Pubnico and Claudette (Jeff Wyman) East Pubnico, brothers; Benedict (Odille) West Pubnico, Cleophas, Berwick and a sister Paulette, West Pubnico, grandchildren; David, Laura, Steven Paul, Gilles, Marcel, Spencer, Sawyer and Cody, great grandchildren; Julia, Abigail, Zane, Leo, Asher, Ava and Everly.  She was predeceased by her husband Florent Joseph d’Entremont, brothers, Felix and Nil, sisters; Elise and Marie in infancy. 

A Mass of Christian burial for Cecile and Florent will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 10am in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Middle West Pubnico with Fr. Cyrille Assihou officiating.  Masks must be worn during the funeral service. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.  Visitation will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 from 6:30-8:30 in the West Pubnico Funeral Home, Middle West Pubnico.  Online condolences may be forwarded to the family at westpubnicofh.com.  Donations in memory may be made to the Nakile Home for Special Care or to a charity of choice.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middle West Pubnico.

She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a life member of the Foyer École, member of New Horizons, and loved spending time at le Musée.  She was a very kind hearted person who loved to laugh, spend time with her husband, family, & friends. The family would like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff at Nakile for the many years of loving care for our Mom.
