Felicita D'Eon

D’Eon, Felicita Thérèse, age 91, of West Pubnico, died February 11, 2021 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital.  Born in West Pubnico, she was a daughter of the late Henri Elizee and Henriette Agathe (Amirault) d’Entremont.  She was a member of Les Nouveaux Horizons de la Baronnie, West Pubnico.  She was also involved with the Cursillo Movement and Pro-Life for many years.  She loved quilting and made many in her lifetime.  She is survived by sons, Allain, Argyle, Isidore (Sandra), Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Gilles (Cathy), Yarmouth, Pierre and Raymond (Yvette), both of West Pubnico and Edmond (Rose) Meteghan, daughters, Thérèse and Mariette both of West Pubnico, Zoé Amirault, Middle West Pubnico and Corinne (Gary LeBlanc), Concession, brother, Russell (Nancy), Argyle Head, sisters, Henriette d’Entremont, Middle West Pubnico, Jeanne d’Entremont, Norma (Nick) Amirault, Imelda (Roy) Surette all of West Pubnico, Carolyn McCully, Dartmouth and Janice (David) Surette, Eel Brook; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, the late Leon Edouard D’Eon; 2 sons, Isaac and George, 2 grand daughters; brother, Ronald and 2 sisters, Marguerite and Helena.  There will be no visitation.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 10am in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Middle West Pubnico with Fr. Cyrille Assihou officiating.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.  Due to limited seating, attendance will be for immediate family and invited guests only.  The service will be live streamed beginning at 10am on the West Pubnico Funeral Home Facebook page.  Donations in memory may be made to St. Peter’s Cemetery Fund.  On line condolences may be forwarded to the family at westpubnicofh.com.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middle West Pubnico.  902 762-3407
