Robert Dulong

Robert (Bob) Dulong, 64, West LaHave/East Pubnico passed away with family by his side, August 10th, 2019, after a 3 week stay at QEII, Halifax. He was the son of the late Adolph and Delima (Amirault) Dulong, step-son of the late Alphe Amirault, and brother to the late Gary. He is survived by his longtime friend and companion Florence Bush, Conquerall Bank;  and his 3 children, Carissa (Shaun) MacInnis, Mira Gut; Jessica Dulong, Victoria, B.C.; Braden (Bethany) Dulong, Bedford. He was a proud grandpa to Isla and Cammi MacInnis and Owen and Myles Dulong. He is also survived by the mother of his children Jacky (Belliveau) Westhaver, Bridgewater. "Bob" worked at Michelin, Bridgewater for over 31 years retiring in 2007. He enjoyed a good game of hockey (was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan), strumming his guitar, walking by the ocean, sailing and scuba diving. Visitation will be in the West Pubnico Funeral Home, August 15th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Lower East Pubnico (752 Rte 3, Lower East Pubnico) on Friday, August 16th, at 11:00 am with Fr. Albeni d’Entremont officiating.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.   Memorial donations may be made to the LaHave Volunteer Fire Department or Immaculate Conception cemetery fund.  Online condolences may be forwarded to the family at westpubnicofh.com
