Arnold d'Entremont

d’Entremont, Arnold Joseph, age 83 of West Pubnico died June 25, 2017 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital.  Born in Lower West Pubnico, he was a son of the late Ralph and Martenise (d’Eon) d’Entremont.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He is survived by his wife, Adeline Monique (d’Eon) d’Entremont, sons; Garnett (Michelle), West Pubnico, Ron (Jeanette) Lower West Pubnico, Danny (Delores) Middle West Pubnico, Mark (Lucy), Pierre (Vanessa) and Paul (Tammy) all of West Pubnico, daughter, Jill (Todd) Brannen, West Pubnico, sister; Corinne (Frank) Deniszczuk, St. Louis, Missourri, grandchildren; Devin, Angèle, Joel, Yvon, Laura, Kristin, Logan, Jeffrey, Julian, Ethan, Amber, Morgan and Skyler and 13 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son in law David Pothier, brothers; Felton, Alfred and Roland and a sister Cecile Harris.  Visitation will be Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 7-9pm in the West Pubnico Funeral Home, Middle West Pubnico.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10am in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Middle West Pubnico with Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiating.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.  Memorial donations may be to St. Peter’s Cemetery Fund or the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice.  On line condolences may be forwarded to the family at westpubnicofh.com.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middle West Pubnico.  902 762-3407.

Arnold spent his lifetime on the sea. He shared 63 years of marriage to his devoted wife Adeline who was always by his side. Husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, his family meant everything to him. He was a caring, humble, and loving man who touched the lives of so many. "Thank you for all the love you gave.
